The Institute of Geography of the Slovak Academy of Sciences is looking for a researcher on the
position of a post-doc researcher or a senior researcher.
Required qualifications:
- a doctoral degree in one of the study programmes of physical geography, geoecology and geoinformatics, human geography, regional geography and possibly also from other related fields (Exception may be the assumed completion of university education of the doctoral degree by 31.8.2024)
- good oral and written English skills
Job description:
- research activities in the framework of scientific projects
- publishing activities
- presenting the results of his/her research at scientific and popularisation events
- duties of the employee in accordance with the relevant legal norms and internal regulations of the SAS and the Institute

Remuneration:
- On the basis of Act No 553/2003, Coll. on the remuneration of certain employees in the performance of work in the public interest.
- The salary is determined according to the level of education and experience and the amount of the agreed working time.
